1. គឺ ( equative v. ) [kɨɨ]
   be / is / was (equal to); to consist essentially of, be by nature; that is; as follows, namely (in some cases, គឺ​ is equivalent to the colon) conj introduces consequentive or resultative clauses យើងទៅទីឆ្ងាយគឺកាន់តែល្អ . We'll go far away; that will be much better. :: ហេតុអីបានជាគាត់ដឹង ? គឺបងជំរាបគាត់ . How did he find out? I told him. :: រស់នៅក្នុង ប្រទេសនេះអស់រយៈពេលប្រហែលជាពីរ ឆ្នាំជាមួយប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាមក គឺខ្ញុំបានដឹង ច្បាស់អំពីប្រទេសកម្ពុជានេះ .    unit of measurement for a stack of firewood (16 meters long X 1 meter high X 1 meter wide)

   introduces consequentive or resultative clauses
