   negative particle not, non-, without ( ពុំ is a stylistic variant of មិន and may replace it in many cases; like មិន it usually occurs with the final particle ទេ់ according the the VK, ពុំ is somewhat more respectful than other negative particles and is commonly used when addressing a superior)
