Chuon Nath: (លិនចង ឬ លេនចង អ. ថ. --ចុង) ឈ្មោះ​ឧប្បល​មួយ​ប្រភេទ​ដើម​សម្បុរ​ស្វាយ​ស្រគាំ ផ្កា​សម្បុរ​ខៀវ​ស្វាយ (នីលុប្បល) ។ ពាក្យកាព្យ ថា : ព្រលិត​លំចង់ ផ្កា​រីក​រហង់ នៅ​ក្នុង​ស្រះ​ស្រី មើល​ពី​ចម្ងាយ ហាក់​ដូច​ចេះ​ស្ដី ថែម​ទាំង​មាន​ត្រី ហែប​ហែល​ផង​ទៀត ។

Western people still call it, water lily, but it is actually called Rumchong by Khmer people in general. Their buds are smaller than regular "prolit" and are white in colors. Their stems are also smallers and spreads in the farm waters in the rainy seasons just as much as regular water lilies.
However, they are not very welcomed for food entries as they are smaller with stronger taste but not as tender as "prolit".
